Sott'acqua ( under water ) means looking at things from a different point of view, far from reality, plunging into different dimensions made of sounds and meanings.

Music and arrangements are influenced by traditional Italian song writers, lightness and catchiness of Pop music, sincerity of Folk, Theater and vocalities from Classical music.
Lyrics, on the other hand, show great attention to everyday-life details, objects and images of great evocative power, while as well expressing the need to use emotions as a way to understand experiences.

Beatrice Sott'acqua mainly performs in Rome.
In July 2020 the band makes its way to Bloom Recording Studios in Guidonia to record the first three tracks: Bus, Mongolfiera e Motel.
